This song is so hype! It’s been a ringtone on the cell since the first time I heard it. Drama should’ve had Michael Jordan in there mouthing TI’s words. He’s the only mofo making it rain.
If you add all of the cameos from the “Roc Boys” video, the “I’m So Hood” video, and this video, you’d think there was a ghostwriter strike going on in hip-hop as well. The Superproducer-Slash-Rapper-Skateboarder-Image-Collabo. I gotta admit, when I first heard this song, it didn’t really hold me. After listening to it a second time, it’s working on me. It’s Pharrell Williams because he’s singing. Skateboard P is the rapper. Get it straight! Kanye’s over-abundance of adlibs is annoying. But his flow has definitely come together. This track isn’t as good as “Frontin’” and Kanye had a better showing on “Grammy Family”. Leaving a bitter aftertaste (no brokeback) after listening to this track, I put on the big boss track, Busta Rhymes f Slim Thug “Get That Gwap”. Judge for yourself.

When I received the short press release on this cat I was a bit mad. No pics, No bio. Jibbs, get on your fam. Tell ‘em to tighten up. They sending your stuff out without putting your package together properly. Or, you could be doing this yourself. Hmmm… So I checked Geffen records for some info on Jibbs. No link, no info. Then I went to the next best place, Myspace. That’s where I heisted this photo. You can also listen to 3 snippets. I hope Jibbs gets all that he wants and deserves. But from what I heard from this young man, he’s got his product and since he’s from St. Louis, you’d expect something in the lane of St. Lunatics and Chingy. And you’d be right…he sounds just like them. Especially Nelly, with that sing-song flow and unfortunately that’s not enough for me. I’m sure the ladies will love it. That should be good enough for him.

Busta Rhymes did an interview for power 106. And Busta gets a lot of comical stuff off of his chest
Busta Rhymes answers 16 questions. The hilarity ensues. Busta explains that Nelly is the worst rapper/actor; Lil’ Jon needs to cut his hair and belongs in the Wack Emcees Group along with the lead rapper from D4L and Diddy. Also he explains that Diddy has some dragon breath going. But we will all crack-up when you hear him say that he poked skinny girl. He said that Houston (remember relish eye) was jealous of him for whatever reason.
