ScreenTimeProductions: Angry Black Women, Tired Black Man »

      Tired Black Man
“And that’s why they called you ‘bitch’, I betcha!” — Tupac Shakur
Thanks to a fellow blogger from 99 Monkeys. Mpecable ran across this quick film (you’ll need Quicktime on Screen Time Productions.

Let me comment on this. ahem. Amen! I get worn out by women who be on that same ol’ nonsense. Black men who date white women aren’t weak! And those who believe contrary are racist. I used to do my ranting about this very subject. It isn’t about men not being able to handle strong women, it’s about peace of mind. Not getting a piece of mind everytime there’s something that the woman doesn’t agree with. I mean damn, homegirl was pathetically trying to rationalize why 3 of them don’t have a man and one is dating a white man. And she in her own way blames black men for that. I’m saying she should shut the hell up in the first place. Nobody asked her jack, dude wanted to get his kid and bail. Not enter an inquisition. I know it’s a film. But it’s real. Watch the video. I heard that it was old. But it’s new to me. I’m moving into hate mode now so I’m gonna stop. Maybe I’m biased because I’m a black man. I’m looking for a snowbunny right now! From the film:

This house you live in, I bought. And all of the furniture in it. Let’s talk about the car and the alimony check. You don’t remember the last time you worked. And you and your angry little crew want to call me a weak black man? Why just because I like to come back home to a peaceful house in the middle of the day instead of the drama I had with you for 4 years? So you feel a black man’s weak because he doesn’t feel like fighting every single night? If this woman here, black, white or any other color can bring some balance to my life, I really don’t care what you or any of your angry crew are saying. Let me set the record straight. I am not a weak black man. I am a tired black man. Tired of dealing with angry black women like you, and you. Now where’s my daughter.

      The Husband On Strike »

      James Wilson
“My goal is to also send a message to wives everywhere that:’Husbands have feeling too’.” — James Wilson
I’ve been reading, watching, and hearing the news about the husband who’s on strike. He’s doing this because his wife still allows their 2 year-old and 3 month-old kids to sleep in the marital bed and it’s causing, in his view, intimacy issues. She disagrees, of course. So to grab her attention he’s staying on the roof and blogging about the whole thing. My new favorite blog. MC Hammer is #2 now. Nice! A lot of people are chiming in with their comments and advice. Overall, the anonymous seems to be a little more harsh than the faces. But! Hey, I will have to cosign with the husband as well (big whoop right?). If the wife can’t see that the situation is detrimental to their relationship and is going to let her husband sleep on the roof when she can put the kids in beds, then I don’t think she’s really listening to her husband’s needs. He’s not saying “forget the kids”. He just wants that space to be their space. And what’s wrong with that? Seriously, marriage is becoming less and less attractive to me. Except for the tax benefits. And if I have kids, then okay. But if I never do, even better.

      From the alphabet network:

March 29, 2006 — James Wilson has been camping out on the roof of his home and calling himself “not only the CEO and director of the National Association of Desperate Husbands,” but “also a card-carrying member.”

So what will it take to get the 33-year-old independent marketing consultant from Redford, Mich., to come back down?

“Well, it is going to take for my wife to finally give in and remove the children from our bedroom, put them in their rightful places, in their own bedroom,” he said.

James Wilson and his wife, Valentina, have a 3-month-old daughter, Jayla, and a 2-year-old son, James III. Valentina Wilson says the children will remain sleeping in the marital bed for now.

“Wait until my daughter gets older and he can get the bedroom back to just us,” she said.

James Wilson, who has been chronicling his woes on his website www.husbandonstrike.com, says the children are causing an intimacy issue, but his wife says that’s not the case.

“We get all the intimacy we need, you know,” Valentina Wilson said.

Valentina Wilson said she was prepared to let James stay up on the roof because she was confident that he would return home on his own.

“I think he will come around,” she said. “It will get cold up there. He will miss us and will get hungry. He will come back home.”

Her husband said that he chose the roof as his place for protest instead of simply hanging out at a friend’s house because he wanted to grab his wife’s attention.

“I just decided I didn’t want to protest using any normal striking method,” he said. “I wanted to be as unique as possible.

Guaranteed Ways To Get Me To Lose Interest »

As the excerpt states, I really do have the attention span of a chimp poppin’ extacy. Here are some guaranteed ways to get me to not detect you…as a living, breathing, human being. Man or woman. Friend or Foe.

      01. Smoking. Ladies, if you smoke, no matter how beautiful you are. No matter your personality, I won’t like you.

      02. Obsessive Trivial Conversation. Damn, if the only thing you talk about is relationships and BET, then I’ll throw up and swallow it to, fill my head, so I may clog my own ears so I can’t listen to you anymore.

      03. Teasing/Playing Hard To Get. I mean, why? It’ll only last 2 minutes anyway.

      04. Wanting me to hang around your family. I just don’t want to. Unless they got Heinekens/ Why? Because your family’s lame to me. And that takes away from my debauchery time. I got schedules.

      05. Ignorance. Hey if you’re a dumbass. There’s nothing that can help you.
