It’s your favorite dinosaur with your favorite pimp’s voice!

So back in September, when the mini-pimp’s special debuted on HBO, everybody at the plantation was talking about it. I hadn’t seen it. But you knew it was a hit because white people were reciting the whole routine already (skippin’ over those mouthwatering n-words ‘n stuff). You know how comics start baggin’ on white people, they always cut to the 2 or 3 white people in the crowd and they are always dying in laughter. I really wanna know if white people think THAT part of a colored person’s joke routine is funny or are they really trying to save face? Do they go home and shower in cologne and axe just to make sure that they don’t smell like bologna or scooby doo when they are wet. I can see it now, one white comedian will pull that card on us.

“I don’t smelled like any cured meats nor salivating canines. I rock Hugo Boss bitch! What the fuck are these black muthafuckas talking about.”

Anywho. Katt Williams special was funny. But he did everything that Chris Rock did…and Eddie Griffin…and Bruce Bruce…and Eddie Murphy…and Monique…and anybody else on Comic View. He played it safe and stuck to stereotypes. Now there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s what getting you paper. But the only that seems to make Katt stand-out from his peers is his luxurious hair. And his constant cosign from rappers. Well not that just that, the man has a rap album as well. So boom there you go. I could’ve done without Lil’ Jon’s intermission and Cam’ron wrapping that chain around his neck showing the crowd that he now owns a black man.

The day it arrived in the mail, I watched the shit 4 times. I laughed and laughed. The next day, I drove to the j-o with it on in the portable dvd blastin’. Motorists passed by me and thought niggaz went crazy in the suburbs again. I took the portable dvd player to work and didn’t turn it on. I told my co-workers that I didn’t want it to get stolen from the ride. Just an experiment to see how muthafuckas can’t keep their hands off my shit. I went to use the bathroom came back and there was a crowd around the terminal where I had sat the dvd player. Everybody was watchin’ the shit with the extra large watermark. I let ‘em watch for 15 minutes and closed the player. As usual, the white people started to regurgitate what they saw. Black people say to me “Can I Get A Dub Of That, Zillz?”

I thought it was a great debut for Katt. Maybe next time he does a cable special, the powers that be will find it in their heart to give the man an hour or something like that. When it drops, go buy it. It’s definitely something you should have between your collection of Chappelle’s Show DVD’s and Chris Rock specials.
