This is the footage from the Toad’s Place performance in Richmond, VA. I had promised it way back, but fam was holding on to it. Well I got it today, chopped it up. And here it is.
I also put the high quality version on the net too.
Earlier in ‘07, I created a vid from their performance at VCU in Richmond, VA which was linked on their HOJ site. You can check that out here.
Shouts to Puncho for filming it. J-Tweezy was in the spot too. And KayCee who was there doing the Kid ‘N Play with Phonte.
I got a few more pics as well. I’ll update this drop when I post ‘em.
Update:

Happy New Year and welcome to Day 8 of the Twelve Days of Getback. I apologize LB fans, New Years day didn’t end on New Years for me. And as a result, I slipped. I’ma tell you, if you were anywhere near K Street before the ball dropped, then you know where the hell I was and what status I was in. More on that later.
Brother Phonte:
Some niggas make songs for the club…..I make songs for the family reunion. Songs to get you through your day at work, songs to study, smoke, chill, drive, play spades, and get your hair done to. To me, that’s what real life is; the stuff that happens while you wait for the moments that never come (c) Lester Freamon
I apologize for the brief hiatus, folks….the holidays have been a really busy time. On top of which, the LB team lost one of its dearest friends/extended family members yesterday morning.
R.I.P to my man Ronnie Johnson, a record industry veteran who was one of our biggest supporters during our time at Atlantic Records. Aside from being one of the biggest vocal champions of Little Brother (i.e. if not for him and my man James Lopez, Minstrel Show may have never seen the light of day), he was an all-around good dude who always took time to show love and respect to those around him, and schooled us on many facets of the game. Please send some prayers up for him and his family. We miss you, brother. – [ SOURCE ]
( ha! fooled ya. ) I don’t have a link for the Day 8 joint. But it’s coming… I promise, I’m never drinking again. I aren’t the lush, however, here’s a tip from moi to vous: Don’t mix Belvedere, Dom P, and a random Meredith handed me a Jack. I was over.
Update:
Little Brother - “Two Step Blues” (feat. Darien Brockington) [ Trumpet Reference Mix ]

“Shnice!” - Poet

Evidence killed it!

Little Brother killed it!
D-Brock killed it!
DJ Flash killed it!
DJ Sinister pissed me off! Nigga I made noise damn. Stop asking me!
That’s all you get until I get the video cut up. It’ll be on the fansite. Well that’s tomorrow.
Seriously, you missed an incredible show…incredible.

The Away Team. This “Sum Of Me” cut appears on a mixtape billed as The Training Day Mixtape that’s being circulated around the internet, in preparation for the release of Training Day on October 30th. Training Day features Evidence, Darien Brockington, Billionz, Black Milk, Supastition, Sean Price & Nervous Reck. I’m a bit confused. The features on the circulated (and tagged) album that I copped from Hip Hop Ruckus (see below) has the same features list as the album that will drop a month later. *shrugs*…anywho “The Odds” is sick.

Props Hip Hop Ruckus.
Puncho on the filming. Zillz on the final cut. Movie Maker nukka! LB showed up with Darien Brockington and DJ Flash. It was a tight show. They performed all of the faves. Started off with “Life Of The Party”. Went into “Speed” and “Nobody Like Me”. Rounded it off with “Lovin’ It”. Chicks swoon for D-Brock. Saw Skillz there. I thought I was gonna see Skillz get up on stage. But nope. The opening act, Loot, was good as well. His single “Almost Famous” is hot though. I noticed one thing about VCU. I haven’t been there in YEARS, and it is still the same. All of it. There may be more buildings and whatnot, but the people…are all the same. They look like and act like younger versions of people who I already know and took courses with. We all had a good time. Copped some auto-muh-graphs. My homey Puncho took some pics of me (my ashy hand) and Sleaze with Phonte & Pooh (Will up ‘em later). Finished it off at B-Dub’s. Being the fans that we are, we were really grateful to have the opportunity to see our favorite hip-hop group. Definitely will do it again…do it again. Thanx Brian for the flier.
DJ Flash you Kool G. Rap lookin’ nigga! hahaha
