I guess you can call this the official relaunch of one my side projects. The Little Brother fansite has expanded and so has the core of its content. Therefore, the branding of it being a Little Brother fansite wasn’t entirely appropriate anymore. Getback Army is a term created by Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh when their Getback album was released last fall. I created the fansite based off that. It was only right I used the term in the transition. We’re definitely still focus foremost on LB, HOJ and JL, and their affiliates, updates. But all artists from the DMV, VA, NC and SC take notice as well.
As for the site itself. It’s still on Blogger. My aim was to stretch Blogger as far as I could. And although there are things I believe that I can still do design-wise, and I will, but for now it’s good to go. Check us out.

Ghostface Killah’s scene got snipped from the movie. All he does is pass some hookers to Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Starks. But THAT’S HIP-HOP! Pay homage to this Iron Man stuff.
By the way, I saw Tropic Thunder on Wednesday. It’s true that Tom Cruise stole the show but…Robert Downey’s Kirk Lazarus as Sgt. Osirus > CNN’s Being Black In America.
I called Chaundon this morning and he was telling me about what’s going on with his new album, No Excuses, and we chopped it up about samples and stuff like that there. He also mentioned new work he has coming including an album that’s sure to be nuts starring him, Rapper Big Pooh and Jozeemo.
What’s good everybody! You are now locked in to another episode of what the hell is Chaundon Thinking??!!!! Well, today I have come to the conclusion of pushing my album “NO EXCUSES” back until further notice. As I learn more about the business everyday, I realize there are a lot of things that should be handled 1st in order to take my career to another level. For instance, clearing samples. I am from the old school where clearing samples does not exist. Even in this day and age where it is law, I personally don’t give a fuck since I aint going platinum in my 1st week where it would be important to clear them or get sued! I am what you call “under the radar”. Since I aint selling a gang of records to where the owners of the copyright would care to bat an eye at the fact I jacked the music for my own, I have the free range to get busy and bless the fans who cop my shit with quality music. But now, as opportunities bang on my door, my old school way of thinking has changed drastically. Now that yours truly has the chance to get music placed in movies, tv, commercial, video games etc, I have to play by the rules and get my samples cleared, do ALL of the necessary paper work to take advantage of this amazing opportunity for the artist who is “under the radar”. Now with the way music is selling these days we don’t know what song will be the “it” song so I have to do what needs to be done in order not to miss my opportunity. Now the other option I have is to record to sample free music only. So to those who are reading this, if you are a producer or knows anyone that is crazy on the boards, have them get at me at chaundonmusic@gmail.com. I hope I cleared up the reason for the push back of No Excuses!
He did assure me that No Excuses will definitely drop and he got some surprises waiting.
