"From my nigga Diddy's view, I think I see his vision too..." - Rick Ross
The summer of 2010 has been the "Summer of Rick Ross." Since coming onto the scene in 2005, Rick Ross has done a complete 180 in the hip hop game. Dude went from getting out shined in "Hustlin (remix)" by Jay-Z to putting out arguably one of the best mixtapes this year with Albert Anastasia and even stellar forth studio album, Teflon Don. Even his beef with 50 Cent and it coming out he used to a correctional officer, not a dope slanger hasn't stopped his momentum. Then again, alot of rappers not talking 100% about their lives in their rhymes. Look at Nas, dude was writing about street struggles behind the window in his crib.
To say, however that Ross hasn't been on his grind is talking crazy like Aubrey does at a strip club. I mean, how can you NOT say "MC Hammer" is not fucking bananas?! Or say that "Super High" is pretty much the summer jam, let alone one of his best singles to date?! Or even say that he's backed up by some of the best producers right now (J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Lex Luger, DJ Clark Kent)?! Whatever you say, good or bad, you can't say this isn't Ross' moment. Even if he says idiot things like Baby is top 5 lyrically right now (William we need to do better on that).
