Music: 9th Wonder Presents The Allies EP
I once heard a story about The Allies. And maybe I need a late pass on this. First shout out to that dude Big Remo The Great, I didn’t get this from him though. I heard not too long ago 9th Wonder had this deal with Dr. Dre for The Allies. It consisted of The Allies and 9th Wonder. Well all to often, a member of the team has an epiphany and leaves the group for whatever reasons and this happened here. And the good doctor put the deal in the dirt because now 9th was one man short. Now I don’t know how true this is…I’m just saying if somebody can confirm. Although, the person who told me has no reason to lie. Don’t worry, I’m not going to turn this into a gossip site.
The reason why I bring this up, is that I was messing around on the innanet. Bumping that Remo/Treal Str8 Drop jaint jaint (patiently waiting for round deux fellas), and found myself on The People’s Republic Of Hip-Hop & Soul. Saw this track for The Allies track “That Shit Ain’t Me” (feat. Rapper Big Pooh) and went on a search. To no avail, I couldn’t find it on the net. But I got it. I’ll even throw in the Remo joint “Wonderbread Like Me”. Shouts to everybody I know in Winston-Salem. Hi Tracey!
