5 Women Rappers To Watch For In 2012

With a new year comes many resolutions and a heap of people claiming, "This year is my year." As much as you have heard and will hear that in day-to-day life, in a way it sort of applies to music artists as well. Only, they're not the ones claiming that this year will be their year - I AM. Well, I don't want to get ahead of myself and say that these following artists will necessarily reign supreme this whole YEAR, but they will definitely be acts to look out for. This list is comprised only of female rappers.

I myself don't listen to very many female rappers at the moment because I feel like they do lack what I enjoy in any rapper. That being lyricism, delivery and basically substance.

If you lack that, then why would I want to listen to your music? I had to do a little bit of research and find not only what I found appealing to my ears, but what I think a lot of other hip hop fans will find enjoying as well.

ZS Grammy Predictions

Now, how I honestly feel about the Grammys can only be described in these great words of Chuck D. However, I'm not totally against the Grammys as much as I'm apathetic towards it. In an industry where the people are force-fed garbage while presented as gourmet, I can't take some of the Grammy nominees and winners seriously in an award that supposedly awards highly prestigious music.
